Hon Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, the executive Chairman of Aniocha South local government council of Delta State, has been making significant developmental strides in his local government.
His commitment to improving the lives of his people is evident as encapsulated in his various policies and programs initiatives, particularly in the human capital development sector of his government.
He has directly empowered over 600 persons with funds and PoS machines to start up their own business, in addition to over 100 Youths receiving monthly stipends from coffers of the local government, which the leaders and some political analyst has described as a game – changer in solving the problems of joblessness, engaging our youths into a productive venture in Aniocha South.
In education Sector, he has equally renovated several primary schools and equipped them with writing materials across the tripertite clans in Aniocha South local government. These renovations have improved the learning environment for the pupils, enabling them to focus on their studies in a better conditions and atmosphere.
Hon Pastor Jude Chukwunwike has also established the office of Needs Assessment Bureau, this office is responsible for the compilation and collating the needs of the people at the local government, providing the opportunity for people to make a genuine demand from the local government for equitable distributions of critical infrastructures and other social amenities.
Chukwunwike has continuously emphasized that embarking on a flight of fancy project that has no benefit to the people is suicidal and a total waste of public funds, saying the people should be given the right to make a demand for any meaningful projects that will be of great benefit to them.
From the renovations and building of new markets in Ogwashi Uku, Ubulu Uku and Nsukwa and to the provisions of brand new police station, building and equipping hospitals are all parts of the demand made by the people through the office of Needs Assessment.
Hon. Jude Chukwunwike prioritizes community engagement, ensuring that his people are involved in the decision-making process. This approach has fostered a sense of ownership and cooperation in development projects.
These engagements has also resulted to the provisions of portable Solar pipe bore water to the people of Ubulu Okiti and Ubulu Uku in Aniocha South local government with a promise to replicate such projects to other communities in Aniocha South as presented by the office of the Needs Assessment bureau.
On the issue of Security, we now sleep with our two eyes closed courtesy of Jude Chukwunwike’s political will and courage to fight insecurity in Aniocha South, kidnapping and cultism has been degraded and peace has since returned to the local government.
Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike’s developmental strides in Aniocha South local government demonstrate his commitment to improving the lives of his people.
His timely focus on security, human capital development, education infrastructure, social amenities and capacity building for teachers, and community engagement has had a positive impact on the people of Aniocha local government.
And as he continues to work towards the betterment of the local government, his efforts are likely to yield long-term benefits for the people of Aniocha South.
