Chief Press Secretary to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Chief festus Ahon has been sworn-in as a Justice of Peace (JP) by the Delta State Government.
Ahon was among 66 individuals honoured at a ceremony conducted by Justice M. Gesikeme at the High Court 1, Ughelli, Delta State.
Justice Gesikeme charged the new JP”s to maintain peace in their respective communities.
In his remarks, Ahon thanked God for the honour and pledged to maintain peace in his community, saying it was a recognition of his efforts to promote peace and stability.
He also expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for the honour, stating that the administration’s development efforts rely on a peaceful environment.
