Delta Speaker,Guwor Congratulates Oborevwori On New Telegraph Governor Of The Year Award

Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has felicitated with Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on his well-deserved “Governor of the Year (Infrastructure)” award from the New Telegraph.

Rt Hon Guwor, on behalf of the State Assembly, extend heartfelt congratulations to the Governor, who he described as a Pride and worthy Ambassador to the Legislature.

The Speaker, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, pointed out that the award was well merited considering the Governor’s tireless efforts in transforming Delta State’s infrastructure landscape.

He stated further that the recognition, again affirmed Oborevwori’s commitment to the MORE agenda of his administration, which has significantly impacted the lives of Deltans.

According to the Speaker, the leadership prowess and vision of the Governor have been very instrumental in driving growth and progress in Delta State, saying that any award bestowed on him is merited and well deserved.

Guwor stressed that the entire members of the Delta State Assembly, are proud to be associated with the achievements and look forward to continuing collaborative efforts in building a better Delta State.

The Speaker expressed optimism that the award would inspire the Governor to sustain the delivering of exceptional service to the people of Delta State.

He said, “On behalf of the Legislature, I felicitate with our amiable Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, on the prestigious ‘Governor of the Year (Infrastructure) award bestowed on him by the New Telegraph.

“As Lawmakers representing the 29 state constituencies, we acknowledge the governor’s achievements in physical infrastructure development across the state.

“He is our Pride and Ambassador. His leadership and vision have been exemplary and commendable.

“I am using this opportunity to reaffirm Delta State Assembly’s commitment to supporting the Governor in his administration’s development agenda as encapsulated in the MORE mantra”, Guwor stated.
