The Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Honourable Chief Dr. Thomas Ereyitomi, has felicitated Team Delta for winning the 22nd National Sports Festival tagged Gateway Games in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Chief Ereyitomi, who was excited over the emergence of Team Delta, hailed their resilient and courageous determination in ensuring they came out on top in the competitions, which featured different games.
The Warri Federal lawmaker, Chief Ereyitomi, congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his support and transformational attention given to the sports sector, which has clearly shown excellent performance by Team Delta at the Games.
Team Delta has won the fifth straight time at the National Sports Festival out of the 22 editions organized so far.
Team Delta secured 122 gold, 96 silver, and 105 bronze medals for a total of 323 medals to retain the title they won in 2022.
