A gas pipeline belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) and the Nigerian Gas Company (NGC) has reportedly exploded in the Ijaghala Community area of Ugborodo, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State.

The community leader indicated that the incident was triggered by a pressure release from a gas manifold located at Okigbe, which connects gas lines from Chevron, Shell, and NGC.
Residents of a nearby fish camp, who were near the explosion, sought refuge in Ijaghala Community for safety.
Fortunately, as of the latest reports, there have been no reported human casualties related to the explosion.
