BOMADI – In a gesture of goodwill and support for the local party executives during the festive season, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, distributed 450 bags of rice to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bomadi Chapter, on Monday.

The distribution included 150 bags of 50kg rice donated by Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F. O. Oborevwori.
The Bomadi Local Government Council contributed an additional 200 bags of 50kg rice, while Rt. Hon. Nicholas Mutu, the Member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, added 200 bags of 25kg rice, which were converted into 100 bags of 50kg, culminating in the total of 450 bags.
Distribution Breakdown:
300 bags allocated to the 10 wards in Bomadi (30 bags per ward),
22 bags to the LGA APC Executive Committee, 10 bags to LGA APC Chairman, Hon. Kayode Tinaka
50 bags to APC Ward Executives across the 10 wards (5 bags per ward)
3 bags to Former PDP Party Chairman, Hon. Keneke Godbless,
10 bags to APC Ward Chairmen (1 bag each)
-14 bags to Community Chairmen (1 bag each)
10 bags to Former PDP Ward Chairmen (1 bag each).
Additionally, a generous cash donation of ₦2 million was provided by Rt. Hon. K. O. Preyor, the Member representing Bomadi in the Delta State House of Assembly, which was evenly distributed among the 10 wards.
This initiative aims to foster unity, inclusiveness, and goodwill among party members and stakeholders, while spreading joy and relief during the Yuletide season. Party leadership praised the gesture as timely and commendable, reinforcing their commitment to the welfare of party members and the ongoing strengthening of the APC in Bomadi Local Government Area.
