Former Delta IPMAN Chairman,Akpos Felicitates Oborevwori On Supreme Court Victory

A former chairman of the Delta State branch of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN),Chief Akpovire Edafevwotu has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his overwhelming victory at the Supreme court on Friday 19th January 2024.

Chief Edafevwotu stated that the victory is well deserved and a true reflection of the aspirations of the good people of Delta state.

A congratulatory message sign by Chief Edafevwotu who is a also a chieftain of the People’s Democracy Party, PDP in Delta State stated now that the litigation process are over, Deltans across political, economic, religious and socio lines should join hands with Governor Oborevwori to advance Delta state.

He however advised opposition parties in Delta state to shun further acrimony and join hands with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to fastrack the infrastructural development of Delta state.

He said the support of the opposition was necessary at this time when Nigeria is striving to come out of it’s economic challenges.

The statement added that there was actually no dispute to the fact that majority of Deltans preferred the MORE Agenda, considering its  peculiarity to the advancement of the State.
“As you pilot the affairs of Delta state, we wish to let you know that we will continue to support your MORE agenda in taking the state to the Promised Land” he added .

Chief Edafevwotu expressed confidence that Governor Oborevwori will be judicious in the use of both financial, material and human resources for the overall advancement of Delta state. 

The oil and Gas business man noted that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has started well by awarding #78 Billion Naira contract to Juluis Berger to construct Flyovers and roads in Effurun and warri as well as performing the groundbreaking ceremony recently.

He once again congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and prayed God to give him the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state .
