The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike has successfully delivered the Isheagu Agro Commodity Market, marking another significant stride in grassroots economic development.
The project is strategically designed to boost trade and commerce within Isheagu community, stimulate economic activities in Nsukwa clan, and extend its benefits beyond Aniocha South Local Government Area.
By creating a more organized and accessible marketplace, the initiative is expected to strengthen local agricultural trade and improve the livelihoods of traders and farmers in the area.
The market project has five newly constructed lock up stalls, 100 open stalls, and the renovation of the existing open stalls, providing traders with improved facilities and a conducive environment for business.
This development reflects the administration’s commitment to rural economic empowerment, infrastructure improvement, and sustainable community growth, ensuring that local markets continue to serve as vital hubs for commerce and social interaction.
