A police officer attached to a former female commissioner,Deconess Joan Onyemaechi was shot dead in Asaba,Delta state after kidnapping the ex-commissionwr on Saturday.
The former commissioner recently resigned her appointment as Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. Joan Onyemaechi also known as Ada Anioma was kidnapped to an unknown destination.
According to spade news She was abducted inside her Church, known as King Jesus & I Church located Ogagifo Road off DBS road Asaba.Report had it that there was commotion right inside her Church.
The police public Relations officer in Delta state SP Edafe bright confirmed the kidnapping and said one police officer was killed during the incident.
The PPRO said the police is on top of the matter as investigation is ongoing.
