The Unuevworo of Etche R’ Ogbe and Special Senior Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, High Chief Roy Oke has donated chairs and tables to Ijakpa Primary School to enable pupils sit comfortably while learning.
High Chief Oke revealed that the donation was to complement the Delta state Governor, Rt hon Sheriff Oborewvori’s effort in promoting education.
The Unuevworo of Etche R’ Ogbe and Special Senior Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, High Chief Roy Oke revealed that the gesture was in fulfillment of the HRM Dr Emmanuel Sideso JP OON Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Abe I directive that as the administrative head of the Etche R’ Ogbe he should provide chairs and tables for pupils of Ijakpa primary school Effurun after the Oghuvwie ( Leaders of Men group) complained to him that the pupils have no chairs to sit while learning .
High Chief Oke who is also the State Vice chairman of Ukodo Nation forum and the chairman Ukodo Nation forum ,Delta Central said the gesture was to complement Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s effort in promoting education in the state .

He revealed that the Ovie of Uvwie kingdom, Abe I has made education a priority in Uvwie Kingdom, stressing that the monarch initiated Uvwie education scholarship scheme which has provided scholarship to hundreds of children in the Kingdom .
High Chief Roy Oke urged the staff of the school to take proper care of the chairs and appealed to good-spirited Nigerians to support government efforts in making learning comfortable for pupils and students.
Earlier while receiving the chairs and tables the head teacher of Ijakpa primary school, Mrs patience Otomewo thanked the Unuevworo of Etche R’ogbe high Chief Roy Oke for the gesture and pledged that the school authority will take good care of the chairs .
She also thanked the Ovie of Uvwie kingdom for his support to the school .
She called on individuals and corporate bodies to support the growth of the school as the government alone can not do everything for the school.
