The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike has praised the peaceful and orderly execution of the APC Ward Congresses held across various wards of the council.
Chukwunwike commendation came during a reception at his Ubulu-Uku country home, where he received official reports on the congresses.
Expressing his excitement, Hon. Chukwunwike described the event, which took place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, as a vital milestone in strengthening grassroots leadership within the party. He stated, “The exercise is instrumental in our journey towards fostering robust grassroots leadership, fundamental to enhancing our governance and political institutions.”
He noted that the congresses were marked by unity, dedication, and active democratic participation.
The newly elected ward executives have shown exceptional commitment, capability, diligence, and integrity, according to the reports he received.
“I congratulate all the elected officials and encourage them to exemplify magnanimity in victory,” he said.
“Your emergence reflects your hard work and the trust of our party members. I look forward to collaborating closely with you to achieve our common goals and improve the lives of residents in our wards.”
Hon. Chukwunwike also thanked party members for their enthusiastic participation, highlighting it as the foundation of the party’s strength.

He urged members to remain united and committed to their shared vision of building a stronger and more prosperous Aniocha South.
To aspirants who were not elected, he offered encouraging words, stating, “Tomorrow holds greater opportunities. Your aspirations are commendable, and not being elected does not diminish your importance within the party. There is a divine timing for every opportunity.”
He concluded by expressing gratitude to all party faithful, congress officials, observers, and INEC officials for their support during the congress, calling for ongoing cooperation to advance the party’s ideals and the overall development of Aniocha South.
