Perekeme Seleyeibo has emerged chairman All Progressives Congress (APC) Bomadi Local government, During the party local government Congress held in Bomadi Town hall ,Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday for a four-year term.
Actual News correspondent reports that the 27- man executive was elected in a peaceful atmosphere, attended by notable leaders including the lawmaker representing Bomadi/ Patani Federal Constituency,Hon. Nicholas Mutu, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Kelly Penawou,Past council chairmen, INEC representative, Bomadi APC chieftains ,APC Delta State representatives, the Divisional Police Officer of Bomadi amongst others.

The Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Andaye, shared that a consensus list was developed by the party leaders to establish the local government executive.
He added that the list was accepted by all leaders and included persons with disabilities.

Bomadi council Boss, Andaye urged the new executive to work collaboratively with loyalty to ensure the reelection of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
He also encouraged those who were not elected to support the new executive rather than harbor negativity.
Hon. Andaye expressed gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for ensuring lasting peace within the party.
Meanwhile, the immediate past APC Chairman, Kayode Tinaka, thanked members for their support during his tenure and urged the new executive to work harmoniously.
A motion to affirm the newly elected executive was moved by Hon. William Angadi and seconded by Hon. Gabriel Yabaka, receiving unanimous approval from all delegates.

He emphasized a commitment to inclusivity, aiming to treat all members as one united family.
Members, including Hon. Nicholas Mutu, advised the new executive to maintain unity, particularly when making critical decisions.
The successful congress signifies an end to any political discord within the APC in Bomadi, strengthening party cohesion moving forward.
