Information Ministry  Celebrates  Aniagwu As Mowah , Omokri Others  Eulogise Him

It was the day of glory for the immediate past Commissioner for Information, Delta State Mr Charles Aniagwu ( JP ) as he was celebrated by the staff of the ministry for his laudable achievements in ministry and robust welfare for them in a very wonderful way at Okpanam near Asaba on Tuesday 30th May , 2023 

A former permanent secretary in the ministry, Sir Austin Mowah who was the chairman of the epoch making event remarked that Mr Charles Aniagwu has done more than other commissioners that served in terms of achievements.
He noted that Aniagwu’ s legacies will forever be remembered in the ministry just as he prayed that Mr Charles Aniagwu should be elevated to Abuja in his political career.
The Functioning Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mr Lucky Omokri ( JP) affirmed that Mr Charles Aniagwu had touched the lives of the staff and lives of copers that served in the ministry tremendously.

Omokri also disclosed that the former Commissioner for Information Delta State also extended his love and care to families of staff. 
Dominic Adewole of Asaba Correspondents Chapel who spoke on behalf of Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Delta State Chapel raised a motion that Mr Charles Aniagwu be appointed as a life commissioner of NUJ Delta State .
The motion was overwhelmingly supported by the audience.
Similarly the Permanent Secretary Head of Service Mr Frederick E Oyoro who represented the Head of Service also raised motion on behalf of  the civil servants that there be a term known as the Aniagwu effect in the Delta State Civil Service .
The motion was also overwhelmingly supported by the audience.
Others that spoke during the free will speeches at the event also spoke volumes of the goodness of Mr Charles Aniagwu who they also prayed for.
In his response, Mr Charles Aniagwu ( JP ) said that he never knew that he will be honour in a wonderful way .
He thanked the staff of the ministry for their cooperation and support that led to his success stories.
Aniagwu however urged staff of the ministry  to give the necessary  support and cooperation  they accorded him to whoever that  will succeed him . 

While praising former Governor Okowa for his achievements , he said Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori will do more . He however urged Deltans to give the new governor the necessary support to take Delta State to greater heights.
