The Seriki ( leader ) of Arewa Community in Uvwie Local Government Area, Alhaji Suleiman Jauro has appreciated Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for putting smile on the faces of Muslims in Uvwie Local Government Area.
Jauro made the appreciation in a media chat with our correspondent when he played host to Muslims and non Muslims during the last Muslim Festival of Eid – el – Kabir at his residence in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area.
He gladly stated that Governor Oborevwori made an undisclosed handsome presentation to Muslims in the area to celebrate Eid – el -Kabir .
Jauro noted that the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) leadership in Delta State and local government area had always showed love to Muslims in the area.
For this reason, he promised that Muslims in Uvwie Local Government Area will always support and be loyal to Governor Oborevwori and the PDP .
Jauro also extended this appreciation and pledge loyalty to HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1 the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom for his will messages during Muslim festivals .
” Umogu ( the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom) and indeed Uvwie people have always share in our celebrations. May the Almighty Allah bless them ” he added.
The Executive Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council, Hon Ramson Onoyake , the PDP Chairman Uvwie Local Government Area Efe Okonedo , the immediate past President General of Uvwie General Improvement Union (UGIU) Chief Austin Ukuwrere were among the highly placed non Muslims that celebrated with Alhaji Suleiman Jauro at his Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area.
