One hundred personnel from Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have completed an intensive training program on swimming and basic water survival techniques.
The training, facilitated by Jiboa Aquatic Consultancy Services and sponsored by Tantita Security service is aimed to equip security personnel with the necessary skills to protect critical oil and gas infrastructure in the Niger Delta Region effectively
Speaking to Actualnewsng.com the administration officer of Tantita Security services Ms. Daisy Jaja stated that the safety of personnel is Tantita’s top priority.
“ We will continue to train personnel on life-saving swimming techniques, water rescue procedures, and emergency drills to prevent accidents.”she stated.
For his part the CEO and Chief Coach of Jiboa Aquatic Consultancy Services, Ambassador James Igare who Trained the officers on critical water survival skills, emphasized the importance of applying the skills during assignments in riverine areas.

He revealed that the NSCDC and Tantita Security personnel were trained on how to stay afloat without life jackets, help drowning victims, and react quickly in case of boat mishaps or other emergencies
Ambassador (coach) Igare added that the personnel can now respond during water emergencies and ensure the safety of themselves and others.
“This training is part of Tantita Security Services’ efforts to build the capacity of its personnel and partners in securing critical national infrastructure, particularly in the oil and gas sector ” he stated .
He commended Tantita Security service for approving funds for the training of its staff and NSCDC Personnel.
Some of the Trainees commended Tantita Security Services for the training programme, urging the management to make it a continuous initiative to enhance their skills and performance.
