HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1 the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom has appreciated former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over the peace in Uvwie Kingdom.
This was contained in the articulated address of the reverred traditional ruler during his just concluded 15th years coronation anniversary celebration.
He was full of praises for the duo for their unflinching roles in the substance of peace and development in his kingdom.
Abe 1 had stated that ” in our estimation, the restoration of peace and security in the kingdom is about our most significant accomplishment , being mindful that no meaningful socioeconomic advancements could have been possible if we have failed in this crucial task .
” All this while Uvwie Kingdom regales in the honour of being among the most peaceful and secured communities in Delta State ”
While highlighting the achievements made in the educational project of the kingdom so far , he had earlier appreciated and commended Governor Okowa for his immense contribution towards the project.
The highly esteemed ruler disclosed that Governor Okowa had donated 5 million naira annually since the past four years towards the Abe 1 Education / Scholarship Scheme.
He appealed to the Governor elect of Delta State Rt Sheriff Francis Oborevwori to sustain the gesture of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
