The wife of the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Mrs Ella Jude Chukwunwike, has unveiled a food bank initiative aimed at supporting residents of the council during the yuletide season.
Speaking earlier at the council Secretariat Ogwashi-Uku, Mrs Chukwunwike expressed profound gratitude to the wife of the Delta State Governor and founder of the You Matter Charity Foundation, Her Excellency,Mrs Tobore Oborevwori, for her continued support for humanitarian causes, charity, and compassion-driven interventions across the state.
She explained that the food bank initiative was designed to encourage residents, particularly the vulnerable and less privileged, to celebrate the yuletide season with joy while easing the burden posed by prevailing economic challenges.

Mrs Chukwunwike also commended the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, Hon.PST. Jude Chukwunwike, whom she described as the “father of the local government and beloved Husband,” for his unwavering support for the vulnerable, his inclusive leadership style, and his consistent responsiveness to the needs of the people.
According to her, the backing from the office of the State First Lady, Mrs Tobore Oborevwori, has remained impactful, describing it as a wellspring of hope and relief to the less empowered members of society.
While unveiling the food bank, Mrs Chukwunwike urged well-meaning individuals, public-spirited citizens, and community patriots to prioritize the welfare of their people, noting that according to biblical principles, true riches are measured by the number of lives positively impacted.
The unveiling ceremony commenced with a short prayer session, followed by music and dancing. Mrs Chukwunwike personally presented items including cash, wrappers, bags of rice, cartons of noodles, tomatoes, cooking oil, spaghetti, and other essential food condiments to the beneficiaries.
