NEPL/ND Western OML 34 AMT Joint Venture Donates Food items ,others to Host Communities

In the Spirit of the Yuletide, Oil Mining Licence OML 34, ND -Western Asset Management Team and Nigeria Exploration and Production Limited joint Venture has presented Bags of Rice, Bags of Salt, Cartoons of Groundnut oil, Varieties of Drinks to communities in OML 34.

Presenting the Items on behalf of the Management of NEPL/ND OML 34 AMT, the Manager, Government community Relations and Security, Mr Sheidu Aiguedo said the gesture was to put a smile on the faces of the people.

Mr. Aiguedo said that the gesture was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility.

Mr Aiguedo who was represented by the Community Liaison Officer Mrs Eunice Akpourhobo said that the company is committed to ameliorate the sufferings of the people of following the high cost of living.

 

The Manager, Government community Relations and Security, urged the people in Oml 34 communities to continue to give the firm the enabling environment to thrive in their business.

 

In their separate interviews representatives of the Edjeba community Mr Ejiroghene Ibuakevwe Secretary General Ugbodede Community, Mrs Joyce Bioseh both in Warri South Local Government Area and Hon Stephen Asheshe a representative of Okpare Olomu in Ughelli South Local Government Area thanked the firm for the gesture.

 

They said it will further put smiles on the faces of their people but urged the management of the company to increase the numbers of the items inorder for it to be enough to share for their people.

 

They commended the company for the yearly end of year gifts to them and assured the operators of OML 34 that they would continue to give them the enabling environment to carry out their business.

Items presented include Bags of Rice, Bags of Salt, Cartoons of Groundnut oil ,Cartoons of Gin, Cartoons of Red wine and Fruit wine.
