Effurun, Delta State – Hon (Amb.) Sunny Okeke, Special Assistant to the Delta Governor on non-indigene traders in the Delta Central and South senatorial districts, has urged non-indigenes traders to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
Speaking on Saturday during a media interaction, Hon (Amb) Okeke called on all stakeholders in Delta Central and South senatorial District to mobilize traders in their units to ensure registration.
He emphasized the importance of participation for first-time voters and those seeking to transfer or update their voter information.
“Voter registration is the gateway to democratic participation,” Okeke stated, adding that those who do not exercise their right to vote lose the moral authority to voice complaints about governance.
