Oborevwori Is Fulfilling His Promises To Igbos – Eze

The immediate past President of Ohaneaze Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts Chief Dr Ambassador Michael Ezeh JP has stated that Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori is fulfilling his electioneering campaign promises to the Igbos in Delta State.

Eze who is a member of the prestigious Delta State Advisory And Peace Building Council stated this in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent at a reception for his thanksgiving mass service in St Jude Catholic Church GRA Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area last weekend.

Ezeh who is also the Chairman of Non indigenes , Delta State stated among other things that Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori promised that he will double the number of former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa Igbo political appointees and that Governor Oborevwori ‘ s has surpassed former Governor Okowa Igbo political appointees by two ” Former Governor Okowa gave the Igbos 5 political appointments.

Governor Oborevwori has so far given the Igbos 7 political appointments and he requested that I should submit 3 nominees to him for appointment to make it 10 political appointments, twice the number of former Governor Okowa ” he disclosed.

Ezeh who is a patron of Igbo Peace Transformation Initiative congratulated Governor Oborevwori for his Supreme Court victory.

He however stated that the Igbos in Delta State expected nothing less from the verdict of the apex court as according to him, the Igbos voted massively for Governor Oborevwori in the last Delta State governorship election.

He urged non indigenes in Delta State to unite , be law abiding and to support Governor Oborevwori till , the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2031 and beyond.

Ezeh lauded and appreciated Governor Oborevwori for the successful implementation of his MORE Agenda within a short period in office particularly with the construction of fly over projects in Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area, roads drainages and Installation of street lights across the state.

He had earlier explained that the thanksgiving mass service was held in appreciation for God’s s goodness upon his life, particularly his successful tenureship as President of Ohaneaze Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts, Executive Assistant to former Governor Okowa on Community Development, academic excellence of his children, marriage anniversary with wife and recent appointment as a member of Delta State Advisory And Peace Building Council.

Meanwhile family members and other guests who graced the thanksgiving mass service and its reception lauded Chief Ezeh for appreciating God in a wonderful way.

Chief Ezeh ‘ s second child, Enoch stated that it is good to appreciate God for His blessings for one to get more blessings .
He then prayed that God should bless his father with the grace of moving to greater heights.

A Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Oborevwori on Non indigenes Matters , Nze Francis Onuora spoke in the same vein just as he praised Chief Ezeh for his humility and kindness to people.

On his part, the Secretary of Ohaneaze Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts Ogbonnaya Igwe Phd, was also full of praises for Chief Ezeh who he described as a gift to humanity.

Igwe who is former Special Assistant ( SA) to former Governor Okowa on Community Development also remarked that both events were successful.

On his part, a former Senior Special Assistant ( SSA ) to former Governor Okowa on Political Matters, Comrade Festus Ukeje described Chief Ezeh as a peace builder as he recalled that Chief Ezeh was the one that stabilised Ohaneaze Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts.
Members of Igbo Peace Transformation Initiative among others were not left out in the words of commendation for Chief Dr Ambassador Michael Ezeh JP.
Both events were richly attended by a galaxy of eminent personalities from far near that included Igbos, other non indigenes and Deltans too numerous to mention.
