HRH Queen Happy Osakpa wife of the Ovie of Okparabe Kingdom ,Osakpa III has Pledged to support the women wing of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, to ensure they make life more meaningful to indigent Urhobo women .
Wife of the Ovie of Okparabe who made the pledged when she played host to the executive and members of UPU Women’s Wing, commended the leadership style of Chief (Dame) Rose Oghene.
Queen Happy Osakpa who was full of joy thanked the UPU Women for the visit, urging them to continue to do the good job of putting smiles on the faces of indigent Urhobo women across Urhobo Nation.
She promised to encourage women in her kingdom to join the group,adding that she will support the group to enable them to succeed in assisting women .
Queen Happy Osakpa who spoke through the Otota of Okparabe kingdom, Prince Solomon Diodemise enjoined the Osu ‘Ewheya R’Urhobo to continue to reach out to prominent Urhobos inorder to achieve their aims and objectives of the group.
Earlier, the leader of the Women’s Wing of UPU, Chief (Dame) Rose Oghene while commending Queen Happy Osakpa for the warm reception accorded them disclosed that they are in the palace to inform her about the group activities .

She urged Queen Osakpa to educate the women in the kingdom on the need to take good care of their children and their husbands .
“Our Queen please tell the women in your kingdom to take care of their children and not leave them in the hands of nanny alone to care for them,they will not be brought up properly,”She stated.
While thanking Olorogun Ese Gam led UPU Executive for the opportunity given to them to lead the group,Chief Oghene also informed the queen that they had empowered hundreds of Urhobo women especially the indigent ones .
she thanked Chief John Nani and Chief Solomon Ighrakpata who had also helped the group to enroll about one thousand Urhobo women in Delta State health scheme in order for them to get good health care.
She appealed to good spirited Urhobo sons and daughters to help purchase a bus for the group so as to make their movement easy and smooth.
Chief Oghene later presented a gift to Queen Happy Osakpa and prayed God to bless her and the kingdom.
