A new executive of Ohaneze Ndigbo Traders and Independent Workers Association, ONTIWA Okpe, Udu, Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Uvwie, Chapters have elected a new executive .
The new executive were elected on Wednesday at Effurun Uvwie local Government Area of Delta State.
The Electoral committee chairman , Mr Chinonso Onuchukwu after the election Declared Mr Samuel Okoye as President. Others are First Vice President Kelvin Iroegbulem ,2nd Vice President Nkechi Nweze ,General secretary Arinze Umenwa ,Asst General Secretary, Sabinus Iweh Financial secretary Chukwu Obinga,Asst fin sec ,Okechukwu Nonyelum ,Treasurer Winner Igwe PRO ,Joshua Orji Amongst other positions .
In his acceptance Speech the newly elected President of ONTIWA Mr Samuel Okoye on behalf of his executive thanked all members of the Association for electing them to pilot the affairs of the Association for the next 2 years.
Mr Okoye pledged that they will work hard to surpass the achievements of the past executive and urged all members to pray for them to succeed.
Earlier the out-going President Prince Sunny Chuka Okeke thanked all members of the Association for their support during his tenure as President .
Prince Okeke appealed to all members to give the same support to the newly elected Executive assuring them that they would make the Association proud .
He thanked all who contributed financially to the growth of the Association .
He revealed that during their tenure they created three more units due to the growth of some units .
He highlighted Other achievements to include establishment of E-mail , Gmail and a WhatsApp group for proper dissemination of information to members , sponsorship of 2020 Igbo Day celebration , Recognition
of ONTIWA by Delta State Government
through the help of Patrons and members.
The out- going President later installs New Patrons inorder for the Association to move to a greater heights .

Chief Michael Odoh , Chief Ezesinachi Goddy Mr Chukwuemeka Eze Okonkwo
Some of the newly installed Patrons contributed financially to support the growth of the Association .
The election of new executive and the installation of new Patrons was witnessed by central and units Patrons and Past Presidents of ONTIWA amongst others .
The event also featured Awards presentation to some members for their contributions to the Association
