The Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon Dagidi Andaye on Thursday received the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Delta State, Hon. Kelly Penawou, during an official visit to the Council.
The visit formed part of the State Government’s ongoing inspection and monitoring of projects across local government areas, aimed at ensuring quality, accountability, and timely execution.
The Commissioner, Hon Penawou who led the inspection team, expressed satisfaction with the progress of work across Bomadi project sites.

In his remarks, he assured Bomadi council Chairman of the State Government’s continued support and emphasized his readiness to collaborate closely with the Council leadership whenever necessary to achieve desired developmental outcomes.
He commended Hon Dagidi Andaye for executing quality projects in the council area.

Hon Andaye noted that the inspection serves as a strong motivation for the Council to intensify its efforts, maintain high standards, and ensure that all ongoing and future projects are delivered efficiently for the benefit of the people of Bomadi Local Government Area.
The projects inspected included,The Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori Ultra-Modern Multipurpose Event Center,The Local Government Chapel, The Vice Chairman’s Lodge, The construction of the road leading to the Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori Event Center,The renovated Pavilion, The construction of the High Court Residential Building Complex, The renovation of the High Court building,The construction of the High Court Road,The construction of the internal walkway leading to the High Court Residential Building Complex, Construction of Hon Engr Atlas Road, amongst others.

Following a joint tour of major project sites, the engagement further strengthened collaboration between the State and the Local Government.

The visit witnessed the presence of key officials of the Council, including the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Poweide Guembe Bekes; the Council Secretary, Hon. Toney Boubai Enai; and the Head of Personnel Management, Mr. Asu.
Also in attendance were the Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Wurukeseiye Doubra, councillors, and all Supervisory Councillors, reflecting a strong sense of unity and shared responsibility within the Council.
