Students from six secondary schools in Warri South, Ethiope East, and Ughelli North local government areas of Delta State gathered at Ubeji Grammar School, Ubeji, to celebrate the 63rd World Interact Day.
The event, themed “Dare to be different; importance of embracing individuality innovation and breaking stereotypes,” brought together members of Interact Clubs and students from various schools to promote community service, friendship, and leadership skills..
The event held in Warri brought together members of Interact Clubs and students from Ubeji grammar school, Edjeba college, Egbokodo Secondary School, Best group of schools Ubeji , Delta State University Secondary School, Abraka and Unity School Agbarho.
In Her opening remarks the president of interact club in Ubeji grammar school, interactor Daniella Dazi while welcoming other interactors to the 63rd world interact day expressed gratitude to the Rotary Clubs that chartered the six interact clubs and their School Managements for the support given to the clubs so far .
She also thanked Rotary international for giving them the opportunity to learn leadership skills and the ideals of the interact club.

The co-founder of Security Education Advocates, Rotarian Temi Agbede Zuokumor, stressed the need for a safe and secure learning environment.
while another co-founder Dr. Rose Obi advised students to take their studies seriously.
Presidents of Rotary clubs of Ubeji,Edjeba and Osubi, Rotarians Emiko Apita, Rita Ifolochukwuka Okonkwo, Malik Abubakar as well as the zonal coordinator of interact club Rotarian Faith Ovie charged the youths to take advantage of all the Programmes of the club for their development and be committed to the ideals of the Interact club.

The event featured cultural displays, drama, dancing competitions, and games, with the inauguration of a rehabilitated leaking roof in Ubeji Grammar School by the Interact club of Ubeji in collaboration with Rotary club of Ubeji.
