Horror as an Hausa born tenant beheaded his landlord in Aladja Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State on Wednesday 20th November, 2024.
The landlord who is a native of Aladja Community was said to have had an issue with his tenant over payment of rent along the popular College Road.
A source disclosed that the tenant allegedly beheaded his unsuspecting landlord from behind and that irate residents of Aladja Community waisted no time in executing jungle justice on the suspect as they lynched him.
It was gathered that few Hausa born residents in the community paid for the crime of their country man with their dears lives and the lucky ones were evicted From the ancient community of Udu by angered indigenes .
Meanwhile it was further learnt that combined government security agents have been drafted to the area to avoid escalation of the crisis
The Police Public Relations Officer ( PPRO ) SP Bright Edafe confirmed the incident but however added that the Hausa born tenant was suspected to be under the influence of drugs.
