Members of the Executive Committee of the Ughelli North All Progressives Congress (APC) Leadership Council have paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Olorogun Oscar Ibru.
The delegation, led by the Council’s First Vice Chairman, Chief Fred Majemite, expressed heartfelt sympathy to the Ibru family over the passing of Olorogun Ibru, describing his death as a great loss to the party and Delta State.
Chief Majemite noted that the late Oscar Ibru was a strong pillar of the APC in Ughelli North, recalling that shortly before his demise, he hosted a well-attended unity meeting of the party in the area.

Responding on behalf of the family, Mr. Peter Ibru thanked the delegation for the visit, saying the death of Olorogun Oscar Ibru was not only a loss to the Ibru family but also to the APC and Delta State as a whole. He assured that the APC would be fully carried along in the burial arrangements.
Other members of the delegation included Chief Terry Noah, Second Vice Chairman; Prof. S. W. C. I. Ibodje; Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas; and Hon. Kelly Oghenekevwe.
It would be recalled that the Ughelli North APC Leadership Council, headed by Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, was recently inaugurated to mobilise grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
