The Olu of Warri,Ogiame Atuwatse III (CFR) has tasked Political Aspirants to consult widely before the forth coming Local Government Election .
The Olu of Warri gave the advice when a Chairmanship Aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party,PDP Pastor Ulisanmi Edukugho paid him a consultative visit at his Palace in Warri ,Warri South local Government Area of Delta State.
Ogiame Atuwatse III further stated that all Aspirants should go about their consultations peacefully as the local government election gets closer .
He commended Pastor Ulisanmi Edukugho for the visit and for disclosing his intentions to contest the Warri South Local Government election to him .
The Olu of Warri later prayed for Pastor Edukugho and asked God to grant his heart’s desires as well as provide the enabling resources for him to succeed.
Earlier, the PDP Aspirant for the forth coming Local Government Election in Warri South Local Government Area, Pastor Ulisanmi Omasan Edukugho disclosed that he decided to pay a consultative visit to the Olu of Warri who is his Royal Father and seek his Royal blessings before making his intention to contest the Warri South Local Government Council Chairmanship position known to the wider public.
Pastor Edukugho said it would be disrespectful for the Warri Monarch to see his billboards on the road side before hearing from him that he is interested in becoming the next Warri South local Government Chairman.
The Frontline Aspirant further disclosed that he wants to serve the people of Warri South and not seek for a meal ticket but to give meal tickets to others .
He pledged to make the Olu of Warri Ogiame Atuwatse III, his family and the entire Warri people Proud and not disappoint them if given the opportunity to become the next Chairman of Warri South Local Government.
Pastor Edukugho later highlighted his 7 point agenda to the Olu of Warri which he said is inline with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda , stressing that he would attract More
Empowerment for women and youths, amongst others that will take Warri South to a greater height.
” I will join his Royal Majesty the Olu of Warri Ogiame Atuwatse III and all stake holders to make Warri greater and attract more investors to the area” He promised .
He thanked the Warri Monarch for receiving him and his teeming supporters to the palace .
