Warri/ Uvwie Special Development Agency, WUEADA has embarks on massive construction drainage project In Igbi Street.
The drainage system project is linked from the Ginuwa Road to Ukpokiti Street axis of Igbi Street and Ginuwa Road.
Some residents of the area who spoke to our correspondent expressed delight over the development.
Jones Omamode expressed optimism that the project when completed will solve the perennial problem of flooding in Igbi Street and its environs.
Another respondent Madam Joan Kekefuwa spoke in the same vein as she however pleaded that roads in Igbi Street and other adjoining streets should be considered for rehabilitation.
Another resident Clifford Oganje who also spoke to our correspondent, stated that in his many years of stay in the area , it was the first time he has witnessed the dividends of democracy in the execution of projects in the area.
All those who spoke to our correspondent, were also full of praises for Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for the on going projects.
They also lauded HRM Kingsley Emakpo Orereh Igbi 11 the Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom for influencing the projects.
