Leaders and stakeholders from the Ethiope Federal Constituency have thrown their weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for a second term in office.
The endorsement was made during a meeting of the Ethiope Federal Constituency Forum held at Chief Bernard Edewor’s residence in Eku, Ethiope East local government area of Delta State
The motion for endorsement was moved by the former Chairman of DESOPADEC, Chief John Nani, and seconded by Dr. Ben Edodja ,It was unanimously adopted through a voice vote presided over by former member of the House of Representatives, Hon Halims Agoda.
The meeting aimed to enhance unity among party members and foster collaboration on key issues.
Director of Protocol to the Governor Hon. Sunday Onoriode, stressed the importance of grassroots organization and urged members to prepare for the approaching congress.
Hon. Onoriode expressed his gratitude to Chief Ighoyota Amori, the National Chairman of the Ethiope Federal Constituency Forum (EFCF), for uniting leaders from Ethiope East and West. “I do not see anyone more important than the leaders present at this meeting.”

Chief Ighoyota Amori, National Chairman of the Ethiope Federal Constituency Forum, highlighted the need for unity, stating, “The ‘Renewed Hope for MORE agenda and On Your Mandate We Stand’ relies heavily on the number of votes we can mobilize for the 2027 elections.”
He announced plans to establish a local government structure that extends to wards and units to minimize conflict during primaries, stressing that anyone chosen by the forum to represent Ethiope federal constituency will be supported by all . “Anyone not present from the Ethiope Federal Constituency is already at a disadvantage.”

Former member of the house of representatives in Ethiope Federal constituency,Hon. Halims Agoda echoed the need for unity among the members of the constituency, stressing that they need a well qualified and responsive candidate to represent the people of Ethiope Federal constituency in the 2027 election.
Notable leaders, including Chief Bernard Edewor, Elder Godwin Ogbetuo,Chief Mike Adiotomre, Hon. Loveth Idisi, Mrs. Janet Oyubu amongst others, echoed the call for unity, emphasizing the importance of a cohesive front for victory in 2027.
