The Wife of the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government, Hon. Rejoice Andaye, has hosted the wives of the newly elected ward chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the wives of various community chairmen across Bomadi Local Government Area at her country home in Kpakiama,Delta State.
The meeting served as an opportunity to congratulate the women on the emergence of their husbands as leaders in their respective wards and communities, while also fostering unity, cooperation, and stronger bonds among them for the progress of the local government.
During the gathering, Mrs. Andaye highlighted the impactful initiatives of the First Lady of Delta State, Dcns. Mrs Tobore Oborevwori, particularly her humanitarian platform, “You Matter Charity Foundation.” She noted that through the foundation, the First Lady has continued to extend support to Deltans, especially women, the elderly, children, and persons living with disabilities.
In line with the foundation’s slogan, “Where Everybody Is Somebody,” Mrs. Andaye also presented the project wrappers to the women in attendance.
Mrs. Andaye encouraged the women to remain steadfast and committed in their communities by promoting the MORE Agenda of the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, while also standing firmly behind the administration of the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye.
She further urged them to ensure they obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively mobilize grassroots support to secure victory for the party from the federal level down to the ward level in the forthcoming elections.
Mrs. Andaye said: “As women and pillars of our various homes and communities, we have a significant role to play in promoting unity, peace, and development. I encourage every one of us to remain committed to supporting our communities, the MORE Agenda of our Governor, and the leadership of Bomadi Local Government. Let us also ensure that we obtain our PVCs and mobilize others to do the same, so that together we can strengthen our party and secure victory in the coming elections.” The wives of the Newly elected APC ward chairmen ame community chairmen wives thanked Mrs Rejoice Andaye for all she has been doing to support indigent women in the local government.
