The Delta State Government has officially opened registration for the Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Programme (TEP), a strategic initiative aimed at fostering innovation and economic empowerment among students in state-owned tertiary institutions.
Commencing today, eligible students can apply online through the official portal at www.tepapplication.com. TEP is designed to identify and support aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with the skills, resources, and mentorship needed to transform innovative business ideas into viable enterprises.
This initiative underscores the Delta State Government’s commitment to youth development and sustainable economic growth.
The programme targets students from the following institutions: the University of Delta (UNIDEL), Delta State University (DELSU), Southern Delta University (SDU), and Dennis Osadebay University (DOU). To qualify, applicants must be Delta State residents aged 18 to 35, currently enrolled in 200 Level, 300 Level, or their penultimate year of study, with a minimum CGPA of 2.5. Additionally, applicants must present a clear and innovative business proposal.
Candidates are required to upload relevant documents, including a recent passport photograph, admission letter, birth certificate, local government of origin certificate, and a detailed business plan as part of their application.
