Rotary Club of Warri Central , District 9141 has provided free Prostate Test for men and HPV Test for women .
Correspondent reports that the Free Medical Tests was held at the Ogwan R’Olodi Hall in Okere Urhobo Community,Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The free medical tests for Prostate and HPV
saw 100 participants take advantage of the health services.
Rotarian Efetobore Tobrise, the club’s president emphasized the importance of health, stating that the initiative aims to prevent Prostate and cervical cancers.

She revealed that the tests align with one of Rotary International’s seven areas of focus, which is Disease control and prevention.
Rotarian Tobrise encouraged residents of Okere Urhobo and neighboring communities to regularly check their health status to combat life-threatening diseases.
Immediate Past President of the Club and project chairman, Rotarian Isioma Uwagbai, urged men to check their Prostate health and women to monitor their HPV status, advising those with abnormal results to consult a physician.
He noted that because of the cost of the test most men and women refused to know their status thereby making them to suffer health issues .
Rotarian Uwagbai also advised men above 40 against eating of Red meat, excessive alcohol and other habits that is inimical to their health.
He also advised ladies against multiple partners to avoid diseases .
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Rotary Club of Warri Central for the initiative.
They prayed to God for continued financial support to members of the club so that the club can keep aiding the community.
