In a bold and unifying move to strengthen party cohesion and consolidate grassroots support, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government,Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike has called on leaders, stakeholders and All Progressives Congress (APC) faithful to embrace unity and renewed commitment to party ideals ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing an enthusiastic gathering of party leaders and supporters at the Unity and Inaugural Meeting held at the Ogwashi-Uku Event Center, Pastor Chukwunwike underscored the urgent need for reconciliation, collaboration, and strategic planning.

He urged party members to bury past grievances and align for the common goal of securing victories for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027.
“The strength of any political party lies not only in its structures but in the unity and commitment of its members,” Chukwunwike declared.
“We must come together as one family, forge new bonds, and take our message to the grassroots where the true strength of democracy lies.”
Delivering goodwill messages, APC LGA Chairman Mr. Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudinma and Hon. Smart Ijeoma Ufoh echoed the Chairman’s sentiments.
They emphasized bridge-building across communities and called for intensified efforts to expand the party’s grassroots appeal by engaging new members and fostering peaceful coexistence.
“Only through unity of purpose and clarity of vision can we advance the APC agenda,” Sochukwudinma said.
Prominent voices at the event, including Barr. Dennis Nwanokwai, Hon. Pascal Adigwe (former member of the House of Representatives), Hon. Austin Chikezie, Chief Agbobu, Barr. Awele Nwoko, and Engr. Hyacinth Enuha, reiterated that APC members must rise above personal differences, abandon factionalism, and relate as brothers and sisters beyond politics.
A landmark resolution was reached during the meeting as party faithful unanimously endorsed President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori as APC’s sole candidates for the presidential and governorship elections respectively in 2027.
The motion, moved by Hon. Austin Chikezie, a former Commissioner and immediate past member of the Delta State House of Assembly representing Aniocha South, and Hon. Mayor Enujeko, former President of the National Youth Council and current SSA to the Governor, was seconded by Hon. David Omah and the APC LGA Youth Leader. The motion was passed with overwhelming support.

The atmosphere was filled with renewed hope and a shared vision as speakers charged the APC family to champion progress, inclusivity, and integrity—key values necessary to achieve the party’s long-term objectives.
The Unity Meeting marks a turning point for the APC in Aniocha South, setting the tone for grassroots-driven leadership, party cohesion, and strategic preparations for the political journey ahead.
