BOMADI – The race for the 2027 Delta State House of Assembly has gained early momentum as the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, threw his weight behind the aspiration of Hon. Chief Funyei Manager.
The endorsement followed a high-level consultative visit by the former Commissioner for Special Duties to Andaye’s private residence in Kpakiama.
During the visit, Hon. Manager formally declared his intent to contest the Bomadi Constituency seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC) banner.
He noted that his bid is fueled by a commitment to “effective and quality representation” aimed at driving grassroots development and legislative impact.
“Securing the Chairman’s backing is vital to this mission,” Manager stated, praising Andaye’s leadership style and commitment to the people of Bomadi.

The Council Chairman assured Manager of his “total support and unflinching backing,” urging him to maintain his focus on the collective interests of the constituency as the political season begins to take shape.
The meeting is viewed by local observers as a significant realignment of forces within the Bomadi political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections
