Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, was hailed as a divinely ordained leader during the 70th Thanksgiving Mass for Lady Doris Onoriode Ejinyere at St. Williams Catholic Church, Orerokpe,Okpe local government area of Delta State.
The priest, Rev. Fr. Peter Awharemuire, commended the Governor’s people-centered governance and commitment to institution-building, emphasizing that his emergence was part of a divine plan.
In his homily, based on Jeremiah 29:10–14, Rev. Fr. Awharemuire declared that the progress seen in Delta State is a testament to God’s guidance. He noted the advancements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, and community development, attributing these successes to Oborevwori’s focused and intentional leadership.
“This Governor is not just constructing roads, bridges, hospitals, and schools; he is building systems,” Rev. Fr. Awharemuire stated, highlighting the sustainable vision underpinning the Oborevwori administration.
The priest lauded the ongoing transformation efforts, stating they are designed to benefit not just the present generation but those yet unborn.
