— Pledge Support for Renewed Hope and MORE Agenda
Bomadi:In a significant political development, the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, alongside top leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), on Saturday 5th July, 2025, officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward 02, Kpakiama, Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.
The official defection ceremony was held at the Cherubim and Seraphim Hall in Kpakiama Town, where all PDP leaders in the ward formally announced their decision to join the ruling APC.
The event witnessed a massive turnout of political leaders, party faithful, and community stakeholders from across the state.
Hon. Dagidi Andaye in his remarks, expressed deep appreciation to all supporters and leaders who honoured the historic occasion.
He specifically acknowledged the presence of Comrade Frances Abi Bunu, President-General of the National Union of Maritime Workers of Nigeria (MWUN), for his unwavering support and solidarity.
“Today is a momentous day for us in Kpakiama Ward 02. The entire PDP structure in this ward has officially joined the ruling party, the APC. This move aligns us with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and importantly, with our own Governor,my boss Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, which I am committed to replicating in Bomadi Local Government Area,” Hon. Andaye declared.
He further urged party members and residents to remain committed and disregard any threats or distractions, assuring them that the APC is firmly rooted and has come to stay in Bomadi.
“As a ward, we also took this opportunity to express our appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, for their meritorious leadership, audacity, and positive reforms aimed at stabilizing our economy. “We unanimously passed a vote of confidence in their leadership and pledged to work towards their success in 2027.”
