Five Parishioners in Oleh Region Catholic Diocese of Warri have been inaugurated as Catechists.
The Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Warri, Most Rev. Anthony Ewherido while inaugurating the catechists during the Cathedraticum hosted by st Patrick’s Catholic Church Owhelogbo, isoko North local government area of Delta State charged them to be Christlike and uphold the Tenet of their new calling.

Bishop Ehwerido while inaugurating the new catechists advised them to be good ambassadors of Christ.
He admonished them to ensure they protect the children and vulnerable Adults under their watch from all forms of Abuse .
Bishop Ehwerido reminded them that they are close collaborators to the priests ,urging them to safeguard the message of God .

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Warri ,Most Rev. Anthony Ewherido who was worried over the recent barbaric actions by some youths in Ozoro ,condemned the act and apologized to all women world wide that are passing through one form of abuse or the other.
While thanking the 170 Parishes in the Catholic Diocese of Warri for supporting his Pastoral work during Cathedraticum ,Bishop Ehwerido noted that their continued generosity had helped him a great deal as their Bishop to provide charity to priests, religious and lay faithful.
While urging the Parishioners at Oleh Region to donate generously , Bishop Ehwerido thanked members of st Patrick’s Catholic Church, the priests and the Edafioghor family for hosting this year’s Cathedraticum.
The various Parishes and institutions in Oleh Region Diocese, as well as all our priests, religious and faithful came out one after the other to make their Donations in cash and food items to promote the Pastoral work of the Bishop.
The Catholic Diocese of Warri Chancellor,Very Rev. fr Jude Nwabuoke and other Priests thanked the Bishop for coming to Oleh Region for the event instead of asking parishioners to come to Warri .
They thanked all Parishioners for their prayers, sacrifices, and generous support to the Diocesan mission and projects.
