In a proactive show of civic engagement, the kinsmen of Abuedo community in Ubulu-Uku paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government , Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike promised to address the electricity challenge in the community, caused by broken down transformers.
Receiving a delegation from Abuedo community in his office, the chairman appreciated the delegation for their orderly approach and assured them that their request would be critically looked into by the relevant departments, in line with his administration’s people-first agenda.
Addressing the chairman, leader of the delegation, Mr. Emmanuel Akapkor, articulated the core objective of the visit — to seek the council’s support in energizing the transformer at Idumu-Osigbudu and servicing two others located along Ubulu-Uno Road and the Ubulu-Uku/Ogwashi-Uku axis.
Akakpor noted that stable electricity is pivotal for social and economic growth and expressed confidence in the responsiveness of the current administration to grassroots issues.
The group also commended Hon. Chukwunwike’s commitment to community development and inclusive governance.
