Wife of the Delta State Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborewvori, has assured widows in the state of increased government support, affirming that they are not alone.

Deaconess Oborevwori gave the assurance during her 56th birthday celebration held in Bomadi, the headquarters of Bomadi Local Government Area.
In attendance were local government chairmen, including Chief Sylvester Oromoni of Warri South West and Honourable Isaac Aguana of Patani, who joined the Chairman of Bomadi local Government Hon Andaye his wife, Rejoice Andaye and the people of Bomadi to celebrate with the Governor’s wife.
Deaconess Oborewvori expressed gratitude to God for another year and commended Bomadi Local Government Chairman, Hon. Dagidi Andaye, and his wife for their efforts in caring for the widows in the area.
In her message, delivered by her daughter Omonigho Oborewvori a lawyer , she reassured the widows that they are cherished, valued, and safe, highlighting the various hardships they have endured.
During the historic event which firmly placed Bomadi in the annals of the state’s political and social history,
Honourable Dagidi Andaye welcomed Deaconess Oborewvori, expressing appreciation for her choice to celebrate this milestone among the widows.
He praised her as a woman of God whose prayers benefit the governor and all Deltans, noting her openness to dialogue and inclusivity.
He added that the wives of pastors and his wife always pray for the Governor,his family,the people of Bomadi and Deltans in general .

The event included a brief sermon by Apostle Liberty Usiayo, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), who recognized the Governor’s wife as a prayer warrior beloved by all.
In a gesture of support, Deaconess Oborewvori presented food items, wrappers, and noodles to the widows after cutting her birthday cake, furthering her commitment to their well-being.
This celebration underscores the emphasis on community support and empowerment as part of the state Governor’s wife PET project you matter foundation.
The wives of Senator James Manager,Hon Kenneth Preyor,Barry Gbe, Issac Uguana, Councillors, council management and staff as well as captains of industry were also in attendance during the 56th birthday celebration of Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori.
