Bomadi- The Delta State All Progressives Congress,APC Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, led a high-powered delegation alongside the leadership of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Delta State Chapter, to Bomadi Local Government Chairman, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, on a condolence visit.
The visit followed the tragic armed robbery attack that occurred on Monday morning at Hon. Andaye’s residence in Ughelli, which claimed the life of one of his security aides, a Nigerian Police Officer, Ojonugba Ocheidi, who was shot dead by the assailants.
The ALGON Delta team was led by its State Chairman, Hon. Chief Isaiah Onoriode Esiovwa of Okpe LGA on the condolence visit.
Others are Chief Innocent Esewezie, Chairman of Oshimili North LGA,Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Lucky Aroefe Avweromre, Chairman of Ughelli South LGA and PRO of ALGON Delta, Hon. Comr. Warri Ovoke Friday, Chairman of Isoko South LGA, Hon. Isaac Aguanah, Chairman of Patani LGA,Olorogun Barr. (Chief) Jaro Egbo, Chairman of Ughelli North LGA.
They expressed deep sympathy to Hon. Dagidi Andaye and the entire Bomadi Council over the sad incident, praying for the repose of the late officer and for comfort to his family.
