Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has congratulated the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Samuel Ogbuku PhD, on his landmark birth anniversary.
Rt Hon Guwor who described Chief Ogbuku as a worthy son of the Niger Delta, and a great ambassador of the Ijaw nation, warmly felicitated with the NDDC Boss as he marks 50th birthday today, Tuesday, 19 August 2025.
The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, CPS Nkem Nwaeke, stated that turning 50 is a profound milestone and a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewed purpose.
According to Rt Hon Guwor, who is the National Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria, Chief Ogbuku’s golden jubilee of life is not just a celebration of age, but a celebration of impact, saying that his journey so far speaks volumes.
He noted that the celebrant’s leadership at the helm of the NDDC has been marked by a bold commitment to the transformation of the Niger Delta as he has consistently demonstrated vision, integrity, and an uncommon sense of duty.
The Speaker on behalf of family, constituents and the Delta State Legislature, prayed to God to grant Chief Ogbuku continued wisdom, good health, and divine guidance in future endeavours.
Guwor also prayed that the golden jubilee strengthens the NDDC MD’s resolve to continue being a vessel for sustainable development, peace, and prosperity across the Niger Delta and beyond.
