—-Efele, Ofe Charge Contractors to be diligent
The Executive Director, Planning, Research and Statistics of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission DESOPADEC Hon. Nicholas Efele has commenced project monitoring across the oil Bearing communities as part of efforts in appreciating the stage of ongoing projects executed by the commission.

began the project inspection and familiarization tour at Warri South local government area of Delta State
The inspection and familiarization tour by the Executive Director, Planning, Research and Statistics Hon Nicholas Efele and the commissioner Representing Itsekiri Nation in DESOPADEC Hon Sunny Ofe was part of efforts to get all ongoing projects completed and review costing of the projects due to the harsh economic realities.
The Team visited the itsekiri National youth council secretariat at odion road, thereafter moved to the Itsekiri communal land trust office as well as the magistrate court at Ifie.
They also inspected the level of progress at the Ubeji market and a 11KVA transformer which is to be converted to 33kVA in Ubeji.
The Executive Director Planning Research and Statistics of DESOPADEC Hon Nicholas Efele noted that the commission would work closely with the various contractors handling the projects in the areas visited inorder to get the projects ready for commissioning at scheduled time .
He assure the residents of the areas visited of the commission’s desire to complete all projects that are yet to be completed due to some challenges.
The Commissioner representing Itsekiri Nation in DESOPADEC Hon Sunny Ofe also assured that all projects are completed in record time send a strong warning to contractors handling the Commission’s projects to be on their toes in delivery the projects according to specifications.
He added the Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori led administration is committed in executing quality projects that will stand the test of time .
