The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Andaye, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Chief Anthony Ofoni, Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council, on his recent Chieftaincy title conferred by HRM Dr. Emmanuel Sideso JP OON, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Abe I.
The ceremony took place on Saturday at the Ovie’s palace in Effurun GRA, Uvwie Local Government Area.
Hon. Andaye expressed his gratitude to the Ovie of Uvwie for honoring Chief Ofoni, highlighting that the recognition is well-deserved due to his significant developmental efforts in Uvwie.
Accompanied by his wife, Hon. Rejoice Andaye, he praised Chief Ofoni for successfully attracting development during his first year in office.
The Bomadi council chairman encouraged Chief Ofoni to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Uvwie, aligning with the MORE Agenda set forth by Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborewvori.
He concluded by praying for God’s continued blessings upon Chief Anthony Ofoni and his family.
