The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye on Tuesday accompanied the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori represented by Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme to the Inauguration of a 40‑unit Community Resettlement Centre in Okuama, Ughelli South Local Government Area.

The centre, built by Ughelli South Chairman Hon. Dr. Lucky Avweromre, is intended to provide shelter for forty displaced families affected by the March 2024 crisis.
The project symbolizes a commitment to community rebuilding, social restoration, and sustainable peace, offering relief and stability to households rendered homeless.

It would be recalled that the Bomadi local government chairman,Hon. Andaye and Hon. Avweromre had jointly resolved disputes between Okuama and Okoloba communities, marking a milestone in inter‑community harmony.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Sen. Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, Chief Dr. Barry Gbe, Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, Hon. Rueben Izeze, amongst others underscoring the shared focus on peace and development.
