Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has sent a list of five nominees to the State House of Assembly for appointment into the Board of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service.
According to a message from the Governor, read at Tuesday’s plenary by the Speaker, Rt. Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, a former member of the State House of Assembly, Hon Solomon Ighrakpata, was nominated as Chairman of the Board.
Also nominated were Barr Frank Nwugo, Executive Director Operations, Kelly Oghenekevwe, Executive Director Finance and Administration, Collins Iwebunor, Executive Director ICT and Corporate Development, Hon Orezi Esievo, Executive Director Legal Services
The nominees are to be screened by the House on Tuesday next week.
In a related development, Delta State Governor , Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has also approved the appointment of the following persons as Special Advisers
1. Chief Edwin Uzor
2. Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon
3. Rt. Hon Basil Ganagana
4. Mr. Tony Amechi
5. Mrs. Eunice Okiemute Anirah
6. Chief Mrs. Shemite Bello
7. Mr. Griftson T. Omatsuli
8. Olorogun Jaro Egbo
In the same vein, the Governor has also approved the appointment of Chief Frank Omare as Director General (Special Duties).
Date for the inauguration of the Special Advisers will be announced in due course.
