The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, on Monday, June 22, 2026, visited Kpakiama community following the alleged murder of Miss Happiness Be-Well by her boyfriend, Mr. Godo Dick.
Andaye, who is also the Secretary of ALGON, Delta State, said he went to the scene of the tragic incident and later paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family.
The council chairman disclosed that upon receiving news of the incident, he immediately directed the Police and other security agencies to apprehend the suspect who had fled the community. He confirmed that Mr. Dick was arrested within two hours.
Andaye appealed to the family of the deceased and the people of Kpakiama to remain calm, peaceful and law-abiding, urging them to refrain from violence or taking the law into their own hands.
“I reassured them of my administration’s commitment to ensuring that justice is diligently pursued and allowed to take its full course in accordance with the law,” Andaye stated.
