….As he pays condolence visit to his family
The Managing Director/ CEO, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Chief Festus Ochonogor, on Saturday July 26, 2025 paid a condolences visit and a glowing tribute to the families of the Late Pa. Alexander Iweka, of Onitsha Olona, in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, father of Comrade Kingsley Odiaka Iweka (minm), Senior Special Assistant SSA, to the Governor of Delta State, on Peace building and conflict resolution.

Chief Ochonogor, who described the Late Pa, Iweka, as a peace maker, who lived a selfless life and contributed immensely to the development of his community,the state and Nigeria at large, commiserated with his family and those he left behind.
“Pa. Iweka, was a humble man, an embodiment of peace, who in his lifetime, contributed immensely to the development of his community, even while in the service of the Nigerian Army, he served, meritoriously, before his retirement.
Though we are going to miss his wise counsel, but he has left an indelible mark ” he added .
Chief Ochonogor, who counsel the members of Pa Iweka’s family, especially Mrs Iweka and Comrade Kingsley Odiaka Iweka (minm), who is his close confidant,to bear the loss and to take solace in the exemplary life , lived by the Octogenarian, before his peacefull Denise, on Friday July 25, 2025, at the age of 80 years, praying that his soul and that of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
In his reaction, Comrade Kingsley Odiaka Iweka (minm), thanked the Managing Director/CEO, DESOPADEC ,Chief Festus Ochonogor, for his show of love and condolences for the family, at this trying time of the demise of their beloved father, saying that he is a leader indeed, that his family remains great full to him at this trying time.
