The executive chairman of Uvwie local government,Chief Anthony Ofoni has thanked Tanitita security services Nigeria limited for donating Police station with state- of- the -art equipment, Patrol Vans and reconstruction of hall to the officers and men of Ugborikoko police station.
Chief Ofoni made the statement during the inauguration of the Ultra modern Ugborikoko Police station in Uvwie local government area of Delta State.
He commended Tanitita security for complimenting the efforts of Delta state Governor Rt hon Sheriff Oborevwori who has been sustaining the peace and security in Uvwie and Delta State in general.
The full text of the Uvwie council Boss Reads;
“it a great privilege and honour given to me by God, to be a part of this history-making occasion of the commissioning of the newly-built Ugborikoko Police Station. I must confess that this is a masterpiece and I am so glad that this is happening in my Local Government Area.
“Firstly, I want to respectfully welcome the Commissioner of Police, Abaniwonda Olufemi to Uvwie Local Government Area, a land flowing with milk and honey. Thank you for your commitment to fight crime. Your zero tolerance for crime has ushered in an atmosphere of peace and order in Delta State.
I sincerely wish to appreciate the Divisional Police officer of Ugborikoko Police Divisional Headquarters, CSP Temi Agbede-Zuokumor, a woman with sterling leadership qualities, whose crime management style has gone a long way to reduce the indices of crime around the Ugborikoko area. I salute you and your officers for the great job that you are doing in Uvwie Local Government Area. I also want to seize this opportunity to commend the efforts of all our distinguished Security Operatives in Uvwie Local Government Area. Your synergy and cooperation have turned a once known ‘gbege’ Local Government Area to a peaceful Local Government Area. We are truly indebted to you.
“On behalf of the good people of Uvwie Local Government Area, I want to express our profound gratitude to Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited for undertaking this great corporate social responsibility. You have demonstrated your commitment to uphold a peaceful and secure Society and we are most grateful to you. I call on all other Business Organizations to borrow a leaf from Tantita and contribute meaningfully to your Host Community.
At this juncture, I call on all members of the public to endeavour to be good citizens of our great Country. Endeavour to stand for what is right. And if peradventure, you have an issue or you want to report a crime, do not hesitate to call on the Police. The Police is a very vital part of our Security Architecture and they are the very first point of call in the Law Enforcement Architecture in our Community.
Finally, as this edifice is being commissioned today, I call on the officers to make good use of this building to accomplish the purpose for which it is built and may God bless and keep our society free from crime.
