The Nigerian Union of Journalists, Delta State Council, paid a comprehensive assessment visit to Bomadi Local Government Council, where they were warmly received by the Council Chairman, Hon. Dagidi Andaye .
During the visit, the NUJ delegation was taken on a tour of the council’s projects, which showcased the chairman’s commitment to developing the area.
In his address, Chairman Hon. Dagidi Andaye expressed gratitude to the NUJ delegation for their visit and highlighted his administration’s achievements over the past year. He listed several projects, including infrastructure development, building and renovation initiatives, and community empowerment programs.

The NUJ delegation, led by Comr. Oyowe Churchill, Chairman NUJ Delta State council inspected various projects, including the construction of the Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori Ultra-Modern Multipurpose Event Centre, the council Chapel, Vice Chairman residential quarters, Judges quarters, Renovation of High Court chambers, construction of access road to the High Court Chambers, construction of access road to the chairmans office, litany of renovations and other notable initiatives. They were satisfied with the progress made and the quality of work done.
After assessing the projects, the NUJ delegation gave an instant scorecard of excellence to the Chairman, commending Hon. Dagidi Andaye for his effective leadership, transparency, and commitment to accountability.
The NUJ team expressed admiration for the chairman’s ability to deliver impactful projects within a short period.
The NUJ Delta Chairman, Comr. Churchill Oyowe, praised the Bomadi Council Chairman for his innovative approach to governance and developmental strides. He assured the council of the NUJ’s solidarity and support, promising to work together to promote the interests of the people of Bomadi.
The visit concluded with a renewed commitment to collaboration and a shared vision for the progress and prosperity of Bomadi Local Government Area.
