Rotarian Sunny Oveisi has been installed as the 3rd President, Rotary club of Edjeba District 9141 for 2023/2024 Appreciation Year.
The investiture ceremony was held on Sunday at Airport Road ,Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State .
Our Correspondent Reports that the installation ceremony was attended by Rotarians , family members of the newly installed President and friends of Rotary club of Edjeba .
The installation of Rotarian Sunny Oveisi as President of Rotary Club of Edjeba also attracted Prominent Leaders from Edjeba community, Ogunu community, captains of Industry amongst others .
The Chairman of the installation committee Rtn Kenneth Okpeahior in his welcome address noted that the event marks a time of Reflection and appreciation for the outstanding work carried out by outgoing President and the entire board of Directors .

He added that the installation ceremony is a symbolic passage of leadership from one dedicated Rotarian to another
The Immediate Past President of Rotary Club Of Edjeba Rotarian Nicholas Otoboh thanked members of the Board of Directors and members of the club for supporting him during his tenure as President.
He stated that alot of projects to assist humanity was carried out during his tenure and urged members of the club to extend same support to the newly installed President , Rtn Sunny Oveisi .
The immediate Past President later presented awards to some distinguished members of the club as well as presenting Paul Haris Fellow certificates to members of the club sponsored by the chartered President and Assistant District Governor , Rtn Lawrence Nwadiogbu .
The newly installed President of Rotary club of Edjeba Rtn Sunny Oveisi thanked all members of the club for giving him the opportunity to serve humanity .
” This Rotary year 2023/24 will not be an exception as we hope to create hope in the world ” he said
” Rotary provides service to others ,promote integrity advance world understanding , goodwill and peace , Rotary is all about service to Humanity , it’s about putting smiles on people’s faces , people who may ordinarily may have no reason to smile” he stated .
He highlighted some of the projects for the 2023/24 Rotary year to include the provision of chemistry lab to Edjeba secondary school at the cost of 5 million naira , provision of school desk to Edjeba primary and Secondary school at N 3.5 million , sanitary and hygiene at the cost N400,000, drug abuse campaign and prevention at the coat of N300,000
Amongst others .
He added that the total sum of money to execute the project would cost the club the sum of Eleven Million Naira and urged the members of Rotary clubs and Friends of the club to assist in the realization of the projects.
The Installation ceremony featured Awards to Rotarians and friends of Rotary club of Edjeba as well as induction of Board members .
The installation of Rotarian Sunny Oveisi also featured Fund Raising of service Projects for the 2023/2024 appreciation Year .
